If your printer shows Support Code 1003 when attempting to print, it may be out of paper or the paper isn't feeding through the printer properly.
The definition of the terms “Error Code” and “Support Code” are similar, and are therefore interchangeable. Both refer to errors communicated on your printer and / or computer.
Try this to correct the problem:
-
Close the paper output tray.
-
Pull the paper feeder tray out.
-
Insert a stack of paper until the top edge touches the far end of the feeder.
-
After loading the paper, push the feeder so that the arrow mark on the front tray aligns with the arrow mark mark on the printer.
-
Open the paper output tray, then press the OK button on the printer.
