Learn how to install software to connect your Windows computer to your PIXMA MX922 printer after the printer is connected to a wireless network.


If you already connected your printer to a wireless network, you may next want to connect the printer to your Windows computer. To do so, view the video or follow the written instructions below.

Written instructions

Install printer software - Windows

  1. Launch the software you downloaded (see the link above), or the CD that came with your printer.

  2. Read the connection instructions and select Next.

  3. The Software Installation List appears. (MP Drivers must be selected to use the printer. Other selections are optional). Select any other software you want to install, then Next.

     The Software Installation List only appears when using the Setup CD that came with the printer, or when using the Mini Master Setup from the Canon website. If you download the MP Drivers from the website, this screen will not appear.

  4. Select Yes for the license agreement.

  5. Select Next to allow the install wizard to run.

  6. Select your printer in the Detected Printers List, then select Next.

  7. Select Complete on the Setup Completion screen.

  8. Continue to follow the on-screen instructions. When the Setup Complete screen appears, the printer setup is complete.

  9. Select Next and follow any remaining informational steps.
