Description

Locate and remove jammed paper in the PIXMA iP100 printer.

Solution

Follow these Instructions to remove jammed paper from the printer.


Before you begin

 Don't touch any parts inside with paper or your fingers, it could damage the printer.

 

Slowly pull out the jammed paper from the rear paper tray (A) or the paper output slot cover (B), whichever is easier.

  • If the paper jam is more visible from the rear paper tray (A), slowly pull the paper from the tray.

  • If the paper jam is more visible from the paper output slot cover (B), slowly pull the paper from the front..


If the paper tears and some of it is left inside the printer, follow this procedure:

  1. Turn the printer off

  2. Disconnect the power cable.

  3. Open the print head cover and remove the piece(s) of paper.

    Open the print head cover and remove the piece(s) of paper

If you can't remove the paper, reconnect the power cable, turn the printer off, and then turn it back on. The remaining paper will be automatically ejected.
