Description

Charge the battery - iP100

Solution

Charge the Battery

Note: Charge the battery at a place where the ambient temperature is between 5 and 35 degree C ( 41 and 95 degree F ). If the temperature is outside this rage, the charging may not progress or the performance may be degraded. If the ambient temperature is low, the charging time may become longer.

  1. With the battery assembly attached to the printer, press the <ON/OFF> button to turn off the printer.

Note: You can use the printer while charging the battery. However, the charging time becomes longer because charging the battery is interrupted during printing.

  2. Securely plug the power cord into the universal AC adapter.

  3. Securely connect the universal AC adapter to the AC adapter connecter on the printer.

  4. Connect the power cord to a power outlet.

  5. The charge lamp starts flashing in red and the charging of the battery starts.

Note: If the battery pack is attached to or removed from the printer while the power cord is connected to an outlet, charging may not start. In this case, disconnect the power plug from the outlet, then reconnect it.

Note: It takes about three hours to fully charge an empty battery.

  6. When the charge lamp turns off, the battery is fully charged.
