Description

Learn what to do when the images printed from your SELPHY CP910 are cut off or cropped.

Solution

If your images are cut off or cropped when you print them, please confirm or adjust the settings as explained in the following sections.

Confirm that cropping is turned off

When cropping is set, the cropping symbol displays in the lower left of the image screen. Follow the steps below to turn it off.

  1. Select EDIT on the image display screen.

  2. Tap the up / down arrow    to select Reset Cropping, then tap OK.

  3. When the following screen displays, tap OK again.

Set the paper size

When the aspect ratio of the image doesn't match the paper size (1), and you select Borderless, part of the image will cut off when it prints. Confirm that the paper size matches the image aspect ratio before you print.

To prevent an image from cutting off when you print on paper that differs in size from the images aspect ratio (2), set the Borders menu option to Bordered.

The above example shows a 1:1 image as printed on Postcard Size paper.

Print images with a border

Borderless is the default (1).
You can set to  bordered (2).

  1. Select Menu to access the Settings screen. .

  2. Tap the up / down arrow   to select Change Settings, then tap OK.

  1. Add a border to the image you want to print.
  • Tap the up / down arrow   to select Borders.

  • Tap the left / right arrow    to select Bordered, then press enter  to confirm your choice.

  • Press enter  again to return to the image display screen.

  1. Select the images and the number of prints, then tap Print  to print.

Good to know

  • If you turn off your SELPHY printer, it restores the Borderless default setting.

  • Images print without borders when Page Layout is set to  Index, or   Shuffle.

  • On card-size paper, images print without borders when Page Layout is set to [ 8-up, even if Bordered is selected.
