How to change the focusing screens

Solution

You can interchange the camera's focusing screen to suit the picture-taking application. You must also set C.Fn-0 so that the criteria for the correct exposure suits the focusing screen

Open the side door and press the <C.Fn> button
  • The Custom Function No. appears

Turn the dial until "F-0 appears

Press the <C.Fn> button for 2 seconds

  • Either "0" or "1" will be displayed on the LCD panel
  • Pressing the <C.Fn> button toggles between 0 and 1

Press the shutter button halfway

  • The LCD panel's normal display reappears
