Solution

Use this switch to set high-speed sync

: For normal sync

: For high-speed sync

  • When Speedlite 380EX is used with a Type-A camera and the switch is set for high-speed sync, using a shutter speed faster than the camera's maximum sync speed sets the normal sync mode.
  • When a Type-B camera is used, normal sync mode is set regardless of this switch's setting
