Solution

The E-TTL auto flash system can also be used with Type-A cameras set to Av (aperture-priority AE), Tv (shutter priority AE) or M (manual). Set the FP flash switch to the green dot (normal sync)
  • When you press the shutter button halfway, the shutter speed and aperture setting are displayed as in any AE mode.
