Description
Sure Shot 60 Zoom : What the different shooting modes are.
Solution
Auto Auto Flash Mode
In low light the flash fires automatically without the red-eye reduction function
Use this mode for taking pictures without people or if you want to shoot right away
Auto Flash with Red-eye Reduction
Set to this mode for taking pictures of people. In low-light the red-eye reduction lamp lights up before the flash fire automatically.
(See Red-eye Reduction for more detailed use)
Flash ON Mode
The flash fires regardless of the light conditions.
Set this mode for fill-in daylight flash or to soften the outline of the subject
Flash OFF Mode
The flash will not fire even in low-light
Use this mode in places where flash is prohibited, for night views and for available-light photography
- When taking pictures in low-light with this mode, the shutter speed becomes slow
- If the green indicator lamp blinks to indicate camera shake, place the camera on a steady surface or tripod
Self-timer Mode
The self timer mode allows you to include yourself in the picture. In bright conditions the self-timer operates in the auto flash with red-eye reduction mode. In low-light it automatically operates with the slow-synchro function. Place the camera on a flat steady surface, or use a tripod.
