Extension Phone

The fax machine will receive faxes automatically in FaxTel Mode and will ring to alert you of an incoming phone call. While the fax is alerting you of the incoming phone call, answer the call on an extension telephone connected to the fax. The instructions below illustrate how the devices should be connected.

1. Connect a line cord from the telephone line wall jack to the [L] jack on the device.
   
   
2. Connect a line cord from the [Extension Phone] port on the device to an external telephone.
   
   
   
   
3. Place the handset in it cradle and then connect it to the [Fax Handset] port.

Note:
You cannot use the extension phone while the fax is in use.
