AUTO REDIAL

You can change AUTO REDIAL to ON or OFF or change the number of times the fax will redial and the length of time between redials.

  1. Press the <Menu> button.

  2. Use or to select [DATA REGSTRATION].

  3. Press <Start/Copy>.

  4. Use or to select [TX SETTINGS].

  5. Press <Start/Copy>.

  6. Use or to select [AUTO REDIAL].

  7. Press <Start/Copy>.

  8. Select from the following options and then press <Start/Copy>
    1. ON: The fax machine will redial when it detects a busy signal while sending a fax.
    2. OFF: The fax machine will not redial when a busy signal is detected. Go to step 11.

  9. Use or to select [REDIAL TIMES] then press <Start/Copy>.
    1. Use or to select the number of times the machine will redial. The options are from 1 to 10.
    2. Press <Start/Copy>.

  10. Use or to select [REDIAL INTERVAL] then press <Start/Copy>.
    1. Use or to select the length of time between redial attempts. The options are from 2 to 99 minutes.
    2. Press <Start/Copy>.

  11. Press <Stop/Reset> to return to standby mode.
