Description
Determine if the fax switches to document receive mode after the fax rings for a specified time when the fax is in
the manual receive mode.
Solution
[MAN/AUTO SWITCH]
By default, [MAN/AUTO SWITCH] is set to [OFF]. If the option is set to [ON] and you want to change it or if you want to increase the time before the fax answers, follow these steps.
- Press <Menu>. [DATA REGSTRATION] will appear on the display.
- Press <Start/Copy>.
- Use
to select [RX SETTINGS].
- Press <Start/Copy>.
- Use to select [MAN/AUTO SWITCH].
- Press <Start/Copy>.
- Use to select [OFF].
- Press <Start/Copy>.
- Press <Stop/Reset> to return to standby mode.
