Ring Count

Change the ring count on the fax when the receive mode is set to FaxTel or FaxOnly modes. Change the ring count on your answering machine when it is connected to the fax and the receive mode is set ANS.MACHINE MODE (Answering Machine Mode).

Setting Ring Count

1. Press <Menu>.
   
   
2. Use to select <DATA REGSTRATION>, then press [Start/Copy]. The LCD displays <USER SETTINGS>.
   
   
3. Use to select [RX SETTINGS].
   
   
4. Press <Start/Copy>. The LCD displays <ECM RX>.
   
   
5. Use to select [INCOMING RING].
   
   
6. Press <Start/Copy>.
   
   
7. Use to select [ON].
   
   
8. Press <Start/Copy>.
   
   
9. Enter the number of preferred rings by using the dial keypad. The options are from 2 to 30.
   
   
10. Press <Start/Copy>.
    
    
11. Press <Stop/Reset> to return to standby mode (date and receive mode will appear).
