Ink Tank Cover Doors Will not Open

Printer May be busy or the Error light may be Lit 
If the power light on the printer is not lit steady, or if the error indicator light is on or flashing, then the Tank Cover Open button may not function.  Wait for the power light to become steady or clear the error and try again. 

Printer May not be Level
If there is anything under any of the feet of the printer, the printer may become lopsided which may affect moving parts of the ink tank cover doors if you attempt to open them.  Remove any obstructions from under the printer and make sure the printer is sitting on a flat, level surface and then try again.
