Learn how to remove a paper jam from your PIXMA i70, i80, or iP90.

Solution

Follow the steps below to remove a paper jam from the output slot, sheet feeder, or torn paper left inside the printer.

Paper is jammed in the output slot

  1. Pull out the jammed paper slowly from the paper output slot cover.

 

Paper is jammed in the sheet feeder

  1. Pull out the paper slowly from the sheet feeder.


 

Torn paper left inside the printer

  1. Turn the printer off.

  2. Disconnect the power cable.

  3. Open the print head cover and remove the piece of paper.

 

 

Please don't touch parts in the printer, damage may occur.

 

  If you can't extract the paper, reconnect the power cable, turn the printer off, and turn it back on.  The remaining paper should eject automatically.  If the paper remains jammed, please create or log in to your Canon Account to see your additional options.
