Description
The document cover must be closed to open the scanning unit (printer cover).
Solution
Document Cover
The printer is designed with a scanning unit detection button to avoid accidental damage to the machine if the document cover is open. Close the document cover before opening the scanning unit (printer cover).
- The scanning unit detection button is located on the front, right corner of the platen glass.
- Use hands to gently close the document cover.
- After the document cover is closed, use hands to open the scanning unit (printer cover).
Press the Open button (A) if the paper output tray does not open automatically.
