Load documents properly into the MP830 document feeder

Description

Documents not loaded properly will not feed through the printer.

Solution

Load the documents properly into the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF)

Fan the documents and then align the edges before loading them into ADF.

  1. Remove all documents from the ADF.

  2. Fan out the sheets of paper well so that they do not stick together.

  3. Stack the documents on a flat surface to align the edges of the paper.


  4. Insert the top of the document, face up, into the ADF (1) until a beep is heard.

  5. Then adjust the document guides to the width of the document (2).
