Mac OS X® (10.5.8 and earlier) - Follow the steps below.

Mac OS X® (later than 10.5.8) - If you use a printer with a CUPS printer driver and run this version of Mac, refer to open the IJ Print Utility.
Open the IJ Printer Utility (Mac OS X 10.5.8 and earlier)

Turn on your printer.

Open Applications, Utilities, and double-click the Printer Setup Utility icon. If you use Mac OS X 10.5.x, from the Apple menu select System Preference.

- From System Preferences open Print & Fax.

- From the Print & Fax window, select Open Print Queue. If your Mac OS X version is older than 10.3.x, double-click Print Center.

The name of the Printer Setup Utility varies according to the Mac OS X version.

In the Printer List, select your printer name, then select Utility in the toolbar.

- Select the printer name you are using in the Printer List, then select Maintenance.

- The IJ Printer Utility launches.
