Procedure for Using Super Macro Mode
Super Macro Mode is only available in the following modes: P, Tv, Av, , and M.
Compared with normal Macro mode, you can get even closer to the subject and focus on the subject closer to the lens. The background can also be shot with different effects. This mode allows shooting even closer to the subject than standard Macro mode, magnifying the subject further. In addition, the background can be shot differently from the standard macro shooting effects. Shooting is possible when the distance from the front of the lens to the subject is in the following range:
0 to 10 cm (0 to 3.9 in.) (maximum wide angle)
- Be careful not to bang the lens against the subject when shooting in Super Macro mode.
