Enabling RX Restriction

By enabling this feature, you can restrict reception of faxes to only the numbers registered for speed dialing on your machine. This feature is useful to prevent reception of unsolicited faxes (e.g. junk mail).

1. Open the one-touch speed dialing panel.
   
   
2. Press <Data Registration>.
   
   
3. Press <Set>.
   
   
4. Use or to select [SYSTEM SETTINGS].
   
   
5. Press <Set> twice.
   
   
   
   
6. Use or to select [ON].
   
   
7. Press <Set> twice.
   
   
   
8. Use or to select the restriction type setting you want.
   
   • You can select from the following:
     -REGISTERED SENDR (to allow reception from the numbers registered for speed dialing)
     -WITH SENDER INFO (to allow reception only when the caller gives its telephone number)
   
   
9. Press <Set>.
   
   
10. Press <Stop> to return to the standby mode.
