Description
Connect the answering machine to the extension port on the fax machine.
Solution
Connect the answering machine to the device.
The answering machine must be connected to the device for the fax to monitor the line for fax tones.
- Connect a line cord from the telephone wall jack to the [L] jack on the device. The [L] jack is indicated in the magnified view by the red arrow.
- Connect a line cord from the extension telephone port on the device to the answering machine. The extension telephone port is indicated in the magnified view by the blue arrow.
