Adjusting the Exposure (Scan Density)

Density is the degree of differences between light and dark areas of an image. The [DARK] setting will make an image darker, whereas the [LIGHT] setting will make it lighter.

  1. Press <Exposure>.

  2. Press <> or <> to adjust the density, then press <Set>.



    You can select from the following:
    - [STANDARD] for standard documents
    - [DARK] for light documents to be darker.
    - [LIGHT] for dark documents to be lighter
