Automatic Redialing

When using memory sending to send a document and the recipient's line is busy, the machine will redial the number after an interval.

The machine allows you to customize automatic redialing settings to suit your needs.

You can customize the following settings:

• Whether or not the machine redials automatically
• The number of times the machine redials
• The time interval between redialings
  
  

1. Press <Menu>.
   
   
   
   
2. Press <> or <> to select [FAX SETTINGS], then press <Set>.
   
   
   
   
3. Press <> or <> to select [TX SETTINGS], then press <Set>.
   
   
   
4. Press <> or <> to select [AUTO REDIAL], then press <Set>.
   
   
   
   
5. Press <> or <> to select [ON] to enable automatic redialing or [OFF] to disable it.
   
   
   • If you selected [OFF]:

     Press <Set>.

     
     
   • If you selected [ON]:

     	Press <Set> twice.
     	Press <> or <>, or use the numeric keys to enter the number of times you want the machine to redial, then press <Set>.

     
     

     	Press <Set> twice.
     	Press <> or <> to select [REDIAL INTERVAL], then press <Set>.
     	Press <> or <>, or use the numeric keys to enter the time interval between redialings, then press <Set>.

     
     
     
     
     
6. Press <Stop/Reset> to return to the standby display.
