Changing the RS-232C Settings on a VC-C50i / VC-C50iR

These settings are used for controlling the VC-C50i/VC-C50iR from a PC or other device. The DATA 8 BIT and NON PARITY settings are fixed, and the menu is used to check them only. DATA 8 BIT and NON PARITY are to be read only. To view the following menu screens, connect the camera to a television using a video cable.

1.  Press the button to open the menu, and press to select SET MENU.
2.  The SET MENU will display.  Press to select RS-232C SETTINGS...
3.  The RS-232C SETTINGS menu will display.  Press to select BAUD RATE.
4.  Using the or button, choose the desired baud rate. Press to select and return to the previous screen.
5.  If you need to change the STOP BIT, using the button, select STOP BIT and press the button. If not, press to exit.
6.  To change the STOP BIT, use the or button to highlight either 1 or 2, and press .
7.  Press the button to exit.
