Setting the Language - PowerShot S80

If the language has been accidentally changed to a language that you cannot understand, try the Easy Operation shortcut to access the language menu without trying to navigate through the menu in a language other than English.

1. Turn the camera on and set it to Playback mode by pressing the (playback) button ().
   
   
2. Hold down the <FUNC./SET> button () and press the <MENU> button ().
   
   
3. Select a language using the , , or buttons (), and press the <FUNC./SET> button.
   - Settings can be also be made by turning the multi control dial.
   - If you press the <MENU> button without pressing the <FUNC./SET> button, the camera reverts to the Set up menu without setting the language.
   
   
4. Press the <MENU> button to exit the menu.
   
   

This operation cannot be performed during movie playback, in the jump search mode or while connected to a separately sold printer.
