Reset Cassette Paper Size

When feeding paper from the paper cassette, set the size to 8.5 x 11; or A4. You can change the print settings such as the page size, media type, or print quality on the printer. Dependent on the mode, the available options may vary.

Media Type (print quality)

1. Switch the machine to the mode in which the media type / print quality can be changed.
   
2. 1. To change the media type / print quality in Fax mode, press the <FAX> button.
      
   2. To change the media type / print quality in Copy mode, press the <COPY> button.
      
   3. To change the media type / print quality in Memory Card mode, press the <MEMORY CARD> button.
      
      
3. Press the <Settings> button.
   The Settings screen is displayed.
   
   
4. Press the right or left cursor to select either Settings 1 or Settings 2 tab.
   
   Note: The setting tab is not displayed in the FAX mode.
   
   
5. Press the up or down cursor to select the item to set.
   
   
6. Press the right or left cursor to select the setting.
   
   
7. To complete setting, press the <Settings> button.

Fax Mode

Note: Only Plain paper can be set for the media type.

A4 / 8.5" x 11" / 8.5" x 14"

Note: When printing received data on 8.5" x 14" paper, set the Feed Switch button (paper source) to the Auto Sheet Feeder (ASF).

Copy Mode

• You can specify the page size.
  A4 / B5 / A5 / 4" x 6" ( 101 x 152 ) / 5" x 7" ( 127 x 177 ) / Credit card / 8.5" x 11" ( 215 x 279 ) / 8.5" x 14"
  
  Note: When printing on the Credit-card sized or 8.5" x 14" paper, set the Feed Switch button (paper source) to the Auto Sheet Feeder (ASF).
  
• You can specify the media type.
  Plain paper, Photo Paper Pro, Photo Plus, Matte Photo, Glossy Photo
  
• You can adjust image quality.
  Fast, Standard, High
  
  Note: Fast can be selected only when Plain paper is selected as the media type.
  
• You can specify the reduction or enlargement method.
  100%, Preset ratio, Zoom (25 - 400%), Fit-to-page
  
• You can specify Auto intensity.
  Auto intensity ON / Auto intensity OFF
  
  

Memory Card Mode

• You can specify the page size.
  A4 / 4" x 6" ( 101 x 152 ) / 5" x 7" ( 127 x 177 ) / Credit card / 8.5" x 11" ( 215 x 279 )
  
  Note: When printing on the Credit-card sized paper, set the Feed Switch button (paper source) to the Auto Sheet Feeder (ASF).
  
• You can specify the media type.
  Plain paper, Photo Paper Pro, Photo Plus, Matte Photo, Glossy Photo

• You can specify bordered or borderless print.
  Bordered / Borderless
  
  Note: Bordered is selected automatically when the media type is set to Plain paper.
  
  
• You can specify whether to print the shooting date, file number, or not.
  No date/file no., Print date only, Print file no. only, Print date & file no.

Paper Source

Press the <Feed Switch> button to switch from automatic sheet feed (ASF) or cassette. The light will come on when the Feed Switch is set for that paper source.
