Adjusting the playback volume - ZR60, ZR65mc, and ZR70mc

When using the built-in speaker, make sure that "" is not displayed on the screen. When using the headphones, make sure that "" is displayed. Change the setting as necessary following the procedure below.

Turn the selector dial up to increase the volume, and down to lower the volume.

  • A volume bar appears for 4 seconds.
  • You can turn off the volume completely by turning the selector dial down until OFF appears. Turn the selector dial up to increase the volume again.
  • The built-in speaker does not sound when "" is displayed.
  • Do not connect headphones unless "" is displayed as it produces noise.
  • Sound may become distorted when the volume is turned up too high.
  • The headphone volume can be adjusted in all operating modes.
  • The camcorder retains the setting even if you turn it off (separately for headphones and built-in speaker).

Switching the AV/Headphones Terminal

  1. Press the <MENU> button to open the menu.

  2. Turn the selector dial to select [VCR SET UP] and press the selector dial.

  3. Turn the selector dial to select [AV/PHONES] and press the selector dial.

  4. Turn the selector dial to select [AV] or [PHONES ].

  5. Press the <MENU> button to close the menu.

  • The built-in speaker does not sound when "" is displayed.
  • Do not connect headphones unless "" is displayed as it produces noise.
  • The built-in speaker is monaural. Use headphones for stereo sound.
  • The built-in speaker turns off when the camcorder is set to a mode other than the PLAY (VCR) mode or when you use the headphones.
