Using the BJ Status Monitor (Mac OS 9.x)

If you display the BJ Status Monitor, you can check the status of the machine and the progress of a printing job. The status of the machine is displayed in real time and you can track the progress of individual print jobs. The Status Monitor will also tell you if an error has occurred, if ink is running low, and how you should fix problems.

1. Turn 'Backgrounding' on  in the Chooser to access the 'BJ PrintMonitor'.

2. Click Finder and select 'BJ PrintMonitor'.
   
   
   
   
3. Select the print job.
   
   
   
   Note:  You can also rearrange documents in the print queue. To change the order, place the cursor on a document name, drag it to a new position while pressing the mouse button, then release the button.

Additional Information On Buttons:

• Click this button to pause printing. 
  
  Note:  The button image will change to        (Resume Printing) after you click the button. Clicking this button will resume printing.
  
  
• Click this button to pause printing of the specified document.   
  
  
• Click this button to resume printing of the specified document.   
  
  
• Click this button to cancel printing of the specified document. 
  
  Note:  If the print job does not complete, it may be necessary to disconnect the printer cable, power the printer off and on, and then reconnect the cable.
