How to install the memory cards into the EOS 1D Mark II, EOS 1D Mark II N, and EOS 1Ds Mark II.

The camera can use a CF card and SD card. There must be at least one card installed to enable shooting.

If cards are installed, you can select which card to record the images.

If you use an SD card, be sure the write protect switch is set upward to enable writing/erasing.

	1. Open the cover. Flip up and turn the cover release handle as shown by the arrow.
	2. Insert the memory card into the camera. The left slot is for the CF card, and the right slot is for the SD card. Make sure the label side of the card is on the left, then push in the card in the direction of the <> arrow.
	3. Close the cover. Push in the cover until the cover release handle returns to its original position.
-	4. Turn the <> switch to <ON>. The number of possible shots will be displayed on the top LCD panel and in the viewfinder. The folder No. and file No. will be displayed on the rear LCD panel. The icon for the memory card in use will also be displayed.
