Use poster printing

Solution

Poster printing

Poster Printing is a useful function that allows you to enlarge a document or image and print it out on smaller individual sections. You can create large posters by joining the individual parts together.

The Poster Printing function is not available in Windows NT or when any of the following functions or options is selected:
  • Borderless Printing
  • Background Printing is disabled (In Windows Me or Windows 98). To confirm whether Background Printing is in progress, open the printer driver's Properties dialog box, select Page Setup and click Printer Control.
Note: The images below are taken from the i80.
  1. Access the printing preferences by opening the printer properties.

    For Windows Vista
    • Click / Select 'Start' from the bottom left of the Windows screen, 'Control Panel', 'Hardware and Sound', and then click on 'Printers'. Note: If you are in 'Classic' view, Click 'Printers' directly from the 'Control Panel'.
    • Click your right mouse button on the listing for your printer, and then select 'Preferences' from the menu that appears.
