Instructions to change the print order (Mac OS X). The Reverse Order option prints pages in reverse order so that the first page is already at the top of the stack in the output tray. The Collate option is convenient for printing multiple copies of the document one copy (collated set) at a time.

To change the settings, open the Print dialog box and follow this procedure:

Change the Page Order

  1. From inside the application click 'File'

  2. Select 'Print'

  3. In the Print Dialog Box select 'Paper Handling' from the pop-up menu.

  4. From the Page Order pop-up menu select from 'Reverse', 'Normal' or 'Automatic'.

    Note: In older versions of Mac OS X, there will be a check box for 'Reverse Printing' instead of the Page Order pop-up menu.

  5. Select 'All pages' to print all pages of the document.

  6. Click 'Print' to save the changes for this document.

    Note: Select Odd numbered pages or Even numbered pages to print the odd pages or even pages of the document.

Specify the print order and number of copies


  1. Specify the number of copies to print.

  2. Select this check box to print several collated sets of the same document.

  3. Click 'Print' to save the changes for this document. Printing will now begin.
