Instructions to use the Photo Noise Reduction function in Mac OS X.  The Photo Noise Reduction function reduces noise from blue portions such as the sky and dark portions of the images taken with your digital camera.

  1. Open the Print dialog box by clicking File and selecting 'Print' from inside the application. 

  2. Select 'Special Effects' from the pop-up menu. 

  3. Select the Photo Noise Reduction check box

  4. Click Print.

  1. Select this check box.

  2. Select Normal or Strong as the strength of the noise reduction effect.


    Note:  Normal is recommended. If the effect is not noticeable, select Strong.
