Use Background Printing (Windows)

Images, such as those downloaded from web sites, will sometimes develop rough and even jagged edges when printed out. A better quality printout can be obtained by using Image Optimizer to smooth out these rough edges.
Note: The Image Optimizer function may not be as effective for some image resolutions and when used with certain software applications.
-
From the application you are using, select the command you normally use to print. In most cases, select 'Print' from the 'File' menu.
-
Make sure that your printer is selected on the print screen, and then select 'Preference' or 'Properties' to access the printer driver setup window.
- Click the Effects tab.
- Select the Image Optimizer check box.
