Enable/Disable Vivid Photo (Windows)

Solution

Enable/Disable Vivid Photo (Windows)

You can get the best results by using Vivid Photo function when printing photos of landscape scenes that feature strong blues of sky and sea and lush greens of natural vegetation.

Note:

  • It is easy to confirm whether background printing is in progress. Open the printer driver's Properties dialog box, select Page Setup and click 'Printer Control'.
  • Vivid reproduction of blues and greens does not affect the color of foreground subjects. Skin tones will look natural without excessive red coloring.
  • The effect will not be as strong with low saturation colors close to gray.

  1. Select the command you use to perform printing from the program you are using. (In general, select 'Print' on the File menu to open the Print dialog box.)

  2. Select your model name and click 'Preferences' (or 'Properties'). The printer driver setup window appears.

  3. Click the Effects tab.

  4. Select the Vivid Photo check box.

  5. Click 'OK'.

  6. Click 'Print' in the Print dialog box. Printing will now begin.
