Instructions to create or change the Printing Profile information in Mac OS X.  The Presets option provides an overview of the current and factory default settings selected for the printer as well as allowing the use of alternate profiles to be saved and used at another time.

Note:  Your printer driver allows you to register settings contained in the Print dialog box.

To register the printer driver settings, follow this procedure from the Print dialog box: 

  1. Select 'Save As' from the pop-up menu.  (The Save Preset dialog box opens.)



  2. Enter a name of your printer driver settings. 



  3. Click 'OK'.

This registers your printer driver settings.

Note:  You can retrieve or change the saved driver settings at any time. 

  • Retrieving print settings:  Select the name of the print settings to retrieve from the Presets in the Print dialog box. 
  • Changing drivers settings:  When registered print settings are selected, you can delete them or change their names.
