Set Prevent Paper Abrasion (Mac OS 9.x)

By using the Prevent paper abrasion function, the space between the printhead and paper is increased, preventing print head contact with the paper.

After confirming that the printer is connected to the printer and that the printer is powered on, perform the following:

  1. From 'File', select 'Page Setup'.




  2.  Click 'Utilities'.




  3. From the pop-up menu, select 'Custom Settings'.



    * Display may vary depending on the printer.

  4. Check 'Prevent paper abrasion', and click 'Send'.



    * Display may vary depending on the printer.

  5. Click 'OK'.




  6. Click 'Close'.




  7. Procedure for setting Prevent paper abrasion is completed.
