Change the communication setting to 'Normal' or 'PC Connect.'
Solution
The camera must be set to normal communication mode when installing a driver on Mac OS 9.x or earlier and Windows 98, ME, and 2000. To change the communication setting, enter the camera's menu, choose the Tools 2 tab, and choose "Communication."
