Attach the Bluetooth Unit to the Printer

Attach the Bluetooth unit to the printer in accordance with the following procedures:

1. Power the printer off. 
   
   Note:  Do not attach the Bluetooth unit while the printer is powered on.  Doing so may damage the printer.
   
   
2. Open the print head cover.

3. Remove the Bluetooth connector cover.
   
   
   <1> Remove the cover by pressing it with your fingers. 
   
   Note:   Be sure to keep the Bluetooth connector cover in a safe place. The Bluetooth connector cover needs to be re-attached to prevent dust on the Bluetooth unit connector after the Bluetooth unit is removed.
   
   
4. Insert the Bluetooth unit to the Bluetooth unit connector.
   
   
   <1> Firmly press the unit to the side until it is properly seated.
   
   
5. Insert the lock cover to the right of the Bluetooth unit.  (i80 only)
   
   
   <1> A click sound is made when fully inserted.
   
   
6. Close the print head cover.
