List of the charge lamp indications (when the battery is being charged)

Depending on the charging status or trouble, the charge lamps light or blink.  Confirm the charge lamps' indication and take the proper action.

<1> 3 charge lamps blink simultaneously. Charging not sufficient When the battery is almost charged, the 3 charge lamps light.  When the battery is fully charged, the 3 charge lamps are extinguished.
<2> 3 charge lamps light. Charging almost completed (not full) When the battery is fully charged, the 3 charge lamps are extinguished.
<3> The outermost lamps blink alternately. The battery is faulty. 1) Remove the Universal AC Adapter from the charger, and re-connect to charge. 3 charge lamps will start blinking simultaneously.

2) Confirm that the 3 charge lamps are extinguished (the battery is fully charged) within about 4 hours

If the outermost lamps blink alternately after about 2 hours, the battery may be faulty.

<4> Blinking alternates between the center lamp and one of the outermost lamps. Charging has been interrupted due to the following:
  • Out of the specified operating temperature range (5o to 35oC)
  • High temperature of the battery pack
  • Faulty battery or faulty battery charger
1) Remove the Universal AC Adapter from the charger.

2) If the unit is set outside the specified temperature, relocate it within the specified temperature.

3) Wait for a while, and re-connect the Universal AC Adapter to continue charging. The 3 charge lamps will start blinking alternately.

4) Confirm that the 3 charge lamps are extinguished (the battery is fully charged) within about 4 hours.

If the outermost lamps blink alternately with the center lamp within about 2 hours, the battery or battery charger may be faulty.
