Solution

Set the Paper Thickness Setting

If the printed surface is soiled due to contact with the print head, select Thick paper to reduce rubbing.

  1. Confirm that the printer is powered on.

  2. Press the <Menu> button and use the left and right cursor buttons to select 'Tool Box' on the right and then press the <OK> button.




  3. Use the up and down cursor buttons to select 'Thick paper' and then press the <OK> button.




  4. Use the up and down cursor buttons to select 'Thick paper' and then press the <OK> button.

    Note:  After printing, return the setting to 'Auto' using the procedures above.
