The EF-S18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 II USM is a highly compact, lightweight lens enabling coverage of the standard zoom range of 29-88 mm in the 35 mm format. Incorporating a high-precision aspherical lens element, the lens achieves high-quality images throughout the zoom range. Moreover, Canon's Micro USM II (ultrasonic motor) realizes silent, high-speed AF performance. In consideration of the environment, the model uses only lead-free glass elements.
