Description

Upload the images to a computer, then print the images

Solution

Precautions about printing images

This section explains what to check when the printer is correctly connected to the camera and the camera is direct print-compatible, but there are images that cannot be printed.

When making direct prints, if the message "Cannot Print!" or "Could not print xx images" appears on the LCD monitor, the images to be printed may fit in the following categories:

1. Images taken with a different camera from the one connected to the printer

2. Images recorded in formats other than JPEG (e.g. RAW format)

3. Images that have been imported and altered by a computer

These messages also appear when making DPOF* settings for such images.

* DPOF is a standard for recording information on memory cards about which images and what quantity of images to print.

In situations like these, refer to your Camera User Guide to check whether the image size matches the pixel capacity of the camera now connected. If the sizes are different, import the images to your computer, and then connect the printer to the computer to print them.

Please refer to the Camera User Guide supplied with your camera to import images from the camera to the computer.  Also, refer to the Printer Driver User Guide supplied with your printer for connecting the printer to the computer.
