Normal Noises
The following sounds are likely to be heard when the printer is turned on. They are normal operating sounds, and are not signs of malfunction:
- A high-pitched noise is heard for about 1 minute after print head replacement.
- A high-pitched noise is heard for about 1 minute after ink tank replacement.
- A high-pitched noise is heard for about 1 minute at the start of printing.
- A sudden noise is heard during paper feeding.
- A sudden noise is heard during paper ejection.
- Noise is heard about 1 or 2 minutes after the end of printing.
