Deleting the Scanner Driver and/or Software (9900F, 8000F, 5000F)
Note: When uninstalling the scanner driver, be sure to first disconnect the scanner from the computer.

- Place the CanoScan Setup CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.
- When the CanoScan Setup Utility menu appears, click the option to 'Uninstall the Software' and then follow the prompts.

Mac OS 9.x
- If the CanoScan Setup Utility menu does not automatically start, then double-click the CanoScan... icon and then the Setup icon.
- When the CanoScan Setup Utility menu appears, click the option to 'Uninstall the Scanner Driver' and then follow the prompts.
Mac OS X Native Mode
- Double-click the CanoScan... icon and then the MacOS X folder.
- Double-click the Deldrv icon to run the Delete Driver Application and then follow the prompts.
