Description
For the fax machine to effectively switch between voice and fax messages with an answering machine on the same line, the fax must be set to [ANS.MACHINE MODE] (answering machine receive mode).
Solution
[ANS.MACHINE MODE] (Answering Machine) receive mode
On the operation panel, press the following buttons to set the fax to answering machine receive mode:
- Press <Receive Mode/Resolution> button repeatedly until [ANS.MACHINE MODE] appears.
- Press <Start/Copy>. The display returns to standby mode.
