Disconnect and reconnect power cord to reset the device

Solution

Reset the device when it does not respond.

If the device does not respond, or to clear an error, disconnect and then reconnect the power cord.

  1. At the device or at the electrical outlet, disconnect the power cord or adapter.

  2. Wait approximately ten seconds and then reconnect the power cord.

  3. Wait until the device has completed its cycling process before submitting another job request.
