If the fax interrupts telephone conversations, change the Remote RX ID number. The default Remote RX ID number is 25. See the folloing steps to change the Remote RX ID number.

1. Press <Function>. [DATA REGISTRATION] will appear on the display.
    
2. Press <Start/Copy>.
    
3. Press [<] or [>] to select [RX SETTINGS].
    
4. Press <Start/Copy>.
    
5. Press [<] or [>] to select [REMOTE RX].
    
6. Press <Start/Copy> twice. The current Remote RX ID number will appear.
    
7. Enter the preferred ID using the keypad.
8. 1. Alternatively, you can change either one of the numbers by pressing [<] or [>] to place the cursor under that number
   2. Then press the preferred number using the dial keypad.
       
9. Press <Start/Copy>.
    
10. Press <Stop> to return to standby mode (date and receive mode will appear).
