Description

Learn how to adjust the scanner resolution when using ScanGear (scanner driver) with the PIXMA MG5720 / MG6820 / MG7720 on a Windows PC.

Solution

 To adjust the scanning resolution in ScanGear:

  1. Click the ScanGear button on the IJ Scan Utility main window.

  2. Click the Advanced Mode tab.

  3. In Advanced Mode, the Output Resolution can be specified by either clicking on the drop down arrow or by typing a number into the box:

    /library/attachments/embedded/18964_image_1.jpg

    When typing in a resolution, the number can be between 25 and 19200.
