Description

Learn how to remove a paper jam from the output slot on your PIXMA MG5720.

Solution

Follow the steps below to remove a paper jam in the paper output slot.

Before you begin

If you can't pull out the paper, turn the machine back on. The paper should eject automatically.

Paper jam in the output slot

  1. Hold the paper with your hands and pull it out slowly so it doesn't tear.

  2. Reload the paper and press the OK button.

When you reload the paper, use suitable paper and load it correctly.

  • We recommend paper sizes other than A5 to print documents with photos or graphics. A5 paper may curl and jam as it leaves the machine.

  1. All jobs in the print queue are canceled. Redo the print jobs if necessary.
