Follow the steps below to remove a paper jam in the paper output slot.

Before you begin

If you can't pull out the paper, turn the machine back on. The paper should eject automatically.

• To turn off the machine and remove a paper jam, press the Stop button to stop the print job and turn off the machine.

• If you can't pull the paper out from the paper output slot, try to pull the paper out from the transport unit.

• If the paper tears and you cannot remove the jammed paper from the paper output slot, remove the paper from inside the machine.

1. Hold the paper with your hands and pull it out slowly so it doesn't tear.
   

2. Reload the paper and press the OK button.

    When you reload the paper, use suitable paper and load it correctly.

• We recommend paper sizes other than A5 to print documents with photos or graphics. A5 paper may curl and jam as it leaves the machine.

3. All jobs in the print queue are canceled. Redo the print jobs if necessary.
