Using an SDXC memory card (EOS M3)

You can use SD memory cards, SDHC memory cards, or SDXC memory cards with this camera.

However, if you use an SDHC card and insert it into a card reader, the card may not be recognized by the computer depending on the version of the operating system. You can use a card reader with a Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows Vista (SP1 or later) computer, but there are cases where you may not be able to use the reader with a Windows XP computer. For detailed information, please contact Microsoft Corporation.
For details on whether your computer's operating system is SDXC-compatible, check with your computer's manufacturer.
  • If you are using a Mac OS, you can download images with the EOS Utility software that is supplied with your camera* by connecting your camera to a computer via an interface cable.
  • For the details about how to use EOS Utility to download images, please refer to the instruction manuals that came with your camera.*
*If the abovementioned items (EOS Utility software/Instruction Manual) were not included with you camera, please download them from the Canon homepage.
